The Chinese invasion of Tibet dates back to 1950 where the vulnerable Tibetan people were subjected to extreme cruelties, oppression and discrimination. A number of international laws have been blatantly violated which caused alarm and considerable concern from other nations. However, there have been no measures taken to put an end to the shocking crimes. The Tibetan freedom was forcefully wrestled out from their clutches and the world just watched on.

When Saddam Hussein assaulted it’s neighboring countries, the world not only sympathized but also actively fought to regain Kuwait’s freedom. Tibetans are left wondering why is it that not even one nation decided to take action but instead allowed the violations to continue for several decades? Some have concluded this might be due to the

Tibetans are not only facing the loss of their freedom but are also struggling with poverty. They have always been noble people that try to solve their battles through peaceful means. It’s a sad fact that they are not only losing lives because of Chinese oppression but also because of hunger and starvation.
